Training on the Youth, Peace and Security agenda and Resolution 2250

ACT for Conflict Resolution organized a training on the Youth, Peace and Security agenda and UN Security Council Resolution 2250, to strengthen participants’ knowledge of youth roles in peacebuilding, conflict prevention, and participation in decision-making.
The training covered the definition of youth, the importance of their role in peace and security, the five pillars of Resolution 2250, the concept of meaningful participation, and the relationship between the YPS agenda and the Palestinian context.
It helped raise participants’ awareness of the need to move from formal participation to active participation that gives youth a real role in influence and change.
